This is one of my favorite things of all time ! The luggage from the film The Darjeeling Limited, is extremely rare as well as one the ultimate classics i have seen in a while. I love the design and style of these bags… they basically sum up my complete repertoire of design; exclusive, well tailored, personal craftsmanship, limited, special edition, fun, classic, timeless. (i.e. cosby sweaters)
The monogrammed steamer trunks, duffels, and suitcases play an integral role in the film and were specially designed by Vuitton using aged calfskin, velvet lining, and a jungle pattern created by Anderson’s brother, Eric.
The Darjeeling Limited, revolves around three brothers’ journey through India carrying their dead father’s luggage—designed by Jacobs for Louis Vuitton.
